...in a way, that doesn't feel like self - abuse. To us "deep feelin'", highly sensitive beings with the call to share our stories, and the gift of leading others by extension...this experience of self-abuse to do so, is so real. Especially if we're not there yet in our arrival to express it, but somewhere on the shore of as you say "becoming able". It takes bravery to do so, in my opinion. I admire that.
As always, thank you friend for your artful soul here. I struggle to breathe. I worry i've taken years off of my life, stopping breath when I'm trying to gain control over my surroundings. Alchemizing that stop of life force to myself by receiving breathwork training to lead others (self first) into the remembrance and healing moment of the present. If I can stop breathing / that is not only destructive but removes me from the path of receiving abundance and in the posture of rest then/ I imagine, others stop breathing as well. And that's not where any of us want to be. I hear your propensity to do so. But you're taking the opportunity to see what is lost and missed in the "fear of missing" by not breathing...and all the more earnest about breathing and letting go to receive the life in front of you. So many gifts of beauty that your dear Olivia provided for you, your family and us all by learning through your experience, in her time here. Perhaps a shift for us in the thinking that our lives are supposed to be " 0-100" days long and that is a well lived life...I'm pondering that.
Funny you don't see or hear this kind of message splashed across billboards. That would mean we lived in a world that is loved based and not fear. But love doesn't make money in the world we find ourselves living out our lives.
Hope this makes sense. Had the time to write back and comment. Mostly to simply say, you are appreciated and thank you. Over the years of knowing you, as a fellow Shaman, your words and heart truths have always landed with me. Water in the desert. ❤️❤️❤️
"Especially if we're not there yet in our arrival to express it..." ← Yes, that. There should be a warning written somewhere for people in this situation, to allow time for "becoming able" to emerge. Such an important task, and one which I've *very* many times skipped, only to really hurt myself.
0-100 day lives... I'm also pondering that lately. Olivia's life seems to have been complete, not cut-short at all.
Yeah, it's sad, but I agree. Billboards cost money and are meant to produce money. In our attention economy, unfortunately, fear is a more effective attention-getter than love. But, I believe all of us have a deeper voice in us, pointing to the courage to give our attention to love.
WATER IN THE DESERT... yes. And I can feel, even now as I sit here, the immediacy, the closeness of the water. It's right here. Your comments are reminding me that there may be millions of others — maybe all of humanity — sensing this, on some level.
I would definitely pay for that billboard, despite the unlikelihood of ROI. Actually as I typed that last line, I heard, "you have paid / are paying for that billboard." It's a good investment as far as I'm concerned. :)

I'm so glad you took the time, Kanisha.
So nice to hear from you, fellow Shaman. ♥️
